Tarika Monique Holland, her artist name being is0latedbeauty, is a performing artist born, raised, and based in Augusta, Georgia. What started off as a hobby in her childhood, her artistic journey really began when she auditioned for Davidson Fine Arts.

Some of her notable piece include her self titled debut solo “is0latedbeauty” which was selected for her school’s Emerging Artist in 2017. Her second work, “Solidarity” won her first place in the Psi Omega County Talent Hunt, and she advanced to the state level. She danced all throughout high school in shows such as “Evening of Dance and Jazz/Dance and Dessert”, the annual “Black History Show”, and the annual “Fine Arts Festival.” Is0latedbeauty made a name for herself locally by in several events/showcases, open mics, church events, and art festivals. While continuing the momentum with her dancing, her junior and senior years of high school is when her range of talents truly began to show.

She was a featured dancer in Davidson’s production of “Footloose! The Musical.” She also toured with the drama department with their fall one-act, “A Wrinkle In Time” as a selected dancer for the movement company/ensemble as well as danced in their production of Willam Shakesphere’s “The Tempest.” She was also an active member of the poetry club, Unspoken Words (later Indelible Artists), and served as secretary her senior year. She has been booked as a featured spoken word artist in several local shows. She has acting experience such as dinner theatre, musicals, and one-acts. She also served as a teacher assistant for Modern I and Tap/Jazz I. She graduated from Davidson in 2019 and went on to major in dance at Valdosta State University.

Her passion and perseverance led her to more success in college. As a freshman, she was soloist of the fall dance concert, “UNBOUND.” She was also casted as a member of the ensemble of VSU’s production of “Cats! The Musical.” Due to unforeseen circumstances, she made her departure from VSU after a year, but did not fail to leave her mark. She moved back home to continue her work as a freelance performing artist as well as self-publishing her first book, “Through the Eyes of Is0latedbeauty.” She is also the modern dance instructor at “A Creative Symphoni Dance Studio.” Is0latedbeauty hopes to touch, inspire, uplift, and live as the most honest version of herself through her art.
